Our Rescued Pets — Miss Penny
Meet our newest rescue: Miss Penny! Penny [AKA 'Miss Weeps'] comes to us from the Sky Harbor Wildlife Rescue, and we are already in love with this adorable little duckling! Our hope is that she will bond and mate with our rascally Muscovy, Mr. Peeps, and so far she seems to think he hung the moon. She follows him all around the yard, never letting him get more than ten feet away from her. If he does, she will let out the sweetest little noise, ‘Weep weep!’, until he rejoins her or she can catch up.
We will continue to post updates on the mating aspect of things, and let you all know if we’ll be eating any free eggs soon!!
